Pond Construction & Repair

The purpose of pond construction and repair is to manage water resources, support wildlife habitat, aid in fire suppression, and provide recreational opportunities.

Site Selection & Planning

Identifying suitable locations based on water supply, topography, and environmental impact, and designing the pond to meet forestry needs while minimizing ecological disruption.

Construction

Munroe Forest & Wildlife will clear the site, excavate the pond basin, constructing embankments, and install spillways or drainage systems to control water flow and prevent erosion.

Repair & Maintenance

Munroe Forest and Wildlife will maintain regular inspections and upkeep to address issues like leaks, sediment buildup, and structural damage to embankments and spillways, ensuring the pond remains functional and safe.
